My Video Essay - What Is Sci-Fi

This Term we have been predominantly focusing on genres and looking at the conventions throughout.  I decided to focus of the genre sci-fi.  Looking at qualities like technology, space, aliens, and dystopian and utopian features.  Here is my video essay about the genre of sci-fi.  Please comment below what genre you would love to know more about, or your favourite movies!  Hope you enjoy!

Marshland Doodles

Hello everyone,

In our hub we have been looking at media and technology, and we focused on google doodles since it is such a big part of media.  I mean, every minute 3.8 MILLLION people do a google search. That is roughly 63,000 people per second.  So we made our own google doodles using the word Marshland as the base.  here is mine.  Hope you like it! please reply in the comments below for feedback!

This drawing represents marshland school as it incorporates the four houses kahu kiwi - The blue Bear, Korowai - The yellow deer, Whitau - The red eagle, and Harakeke - The green snake.  The other letters also resemble maori art and the maori language is a big part of our school.  The letter d at the end also has the school logo, the flax.  What would you do to represent your school?  What do you think I could have done differently?  Please let me know in the comments below!
