Character cartoon (My Pepeha)

One of our focuses in marshland is Maori, this means we need to learn now to introduce ourselves.  So we all made our own personal pepeha and we displayed it as a cartoon about ourselves.  Here is the finished product.  Hope you enjoy!  Comment below your favorite part of the pepeha.

Vocabulary Made Fun!

Vocabulary is a big writing and it is very important in everyday life.  In our hub we have been focusing on changing words to make them more exciting.  My friend and I displayed a word art presentation, so, if you ever get stuck on finding exciting words for your writing come to my blog and I will help you out!

Camp 5 R's

At marshland school the year 7 and 8's went on an awesome 4 day camp.  It was filled with fun activities and challenges.  This is a little insight on the camp we went on and when we showed our school values.  Please comment below what you would want to do most and I hope you enjoy!

Ladder Leading To Sucess

At marshland school we have areas of learning that we focus on at certain times of the day.  At the end of last year we were asked to set goals for ourselves to complete this year.  Recently, we have made Goal ladders that represent our step of how to get there.  Here is my goal ladder and my goals.  Please comment below what you would do to reach these goals or what goals you would put down for yourself if you were to do this activity.

Graffiti Art: Wall of Fame.

Hello readers,

It is a new year back in the learning hub at marshland school, that means it is challenging to learn everyone's names, but we made graffiti wall art using are names.

Everyone gets some paper shaped like a brick you then write your name in a  graffiti like font and color it in.  You can also customize it to what you are interested in. 

This is the one that I made I chose the floral pattern because my name is a flower name and I like the patterns.

Stick man On The Move

I have found this great new app that allows me to make awesome animation, It can be found on any laptop and I would recommend using this - Stop motion animator.  I have made an awesome video with my friend Monet , be sure to check out her blog!

Physiological Fun

Hello readers,

In school we have been researching science and Mackenzie

and I have chosen the topic of which age group has the best

\ health and fitness ability.  We were to research the experiment then

carry it out and display our findings on a science board in the most creative

way possible. This is our finished science board:

I think that if I were to do this again then I would try and perform

the experiment earlier so I could add some extra aspects to the

board and the experiment such as:  Lung capacity, and taste test, as

well as making our board look even better than before. Have you ever

done an experiment similar to this before? If so what were your results?
